What is microtonal music? The use in music with intervals smaller than a semitone, also called "microintervals". The King Gizzard Saz guitars setup have frets straight in the middle of the semitone intervals to create quarter tones.

How soon will I receive my neck? All necks are made to order. Turn around time is approximately 4-8 weeks plus shipping time.

Will the neck fit on my guitar? The ST style neck fits most 25.5" scale common guitars. Some slight differences in manufacturing could require minor sanding and shaping to achieve proper fitment.

What tuning do most people use? Most are using a tuning of C#F#C#F#BE to emulate the tuning used by King Gizzard.

What form of payment do you take? At present we accept payment through Paypal and Interac E-transfer within Canada.

Do you offer necks with maple fretboards? Our standard necks are maple with rosewood fretboards. For special requests and custom work, reach out to us through our Contact Form.

Will my guitar need to be set up with the new microtonal neck? We strongly suggest a set up be done once the neck is fitted to the guitar. As noted above there may be slight differences between the original neck and the microtonal neck due to this the string height of the guitar may need to be adjusted as well as the intonation.

What size of fretwire is on the neck? We use a medium width and height fretwire. In my experience a jumbo width is too busy at the higher end of the fretboard.
